Job Description
The Warehouse Manager candidate will have a range of
responsibilities including planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and
evaluating operations related to commercial, transit, and recreational
facilities, as well as associated real estate. This will include monitoring
leasing of facility space and real estate, as well as the development of
marketing initiatives.
In addition, the selected candidate will have the task of
overseeing and arranging administrative services, which include but are not
limited to, signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections,
security, and snow removal.. In addition, the
Warehouse Manager will oversee the planning, organizing, directing,
controlling, and evaluating construction projects to modify commercial,
transit, and recreational facilities, as well as real estate.
Other duties will include overseeing the installation,
maintenance, and repair of real estate infrastructures such as machinery,
equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems, as well as budget planning
and management of facility operations. The candidate must prepare or supervise
the creation of reports and data related to their areas of responsibility.
The Warehouse Manager will also be responsible for
establishing and implementing schedules and processes for safety inspections
and preventative maintenance, responding rapidly to customer service requests,
and addressing any issues that may arise. The candidate will be expected to
collect feedback and ensure the quality of services offered, and to resolve any
work-related issues within the organization.
The candidate will be responsible for raising requisitions
or ordering materials, equipment, and supplies as needed, and coordinating
activities with other work units or departments. They will also be responsible
for hiring, training, and supervising personnel, and for contract
administration related to the supply and service provision.
Ultimately, the Warehouse Manager will enforce all corporate
policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Job Requirements

- A college or
CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience is required for the candidate. - The ideal
candidate should have 2 to 3 years of relevant industry experience. - Strong
